Our small good deeds

Throughout the years, Pindi Kinnisvara has been doing small good deeds in an effort to contribute to the development of Estonian culture and to value the home, the family and children.

As a real estate agency, we have not defined our activities only in business terms. We do not just offer people real-estate-related services, but also value how people take care of their homes. For 12 years now, we have awarded the best amateur home decorators in the competition “Kaunis Kodu”, in cooperation with the magazine Kodukiri and SEB Eesti Ühispank. This is a charitable competition and the first lady of the Republic of Estonia has been the patron of the event for years.

At the end of the 1990s, we stood behind the success of Valeri Nikitin, the former top Greco-Roman wrestler. Nikitin participated in three Olympic Games and was for years the Estonian champion in his weight class.

In 2003, we supported the SOS Children’s Village in Keila: we helped to clean up a newly completed house and offered older residents of the Children’s Village the opportunity to get a seasonal job at Pindi Kinnisvarahaldus, our property management and maintenance division.

In the years 2004 and 2005, we took part in a campaign, organized by the newspaper Postimees, where successful companies support the children living in children’s homes. We are aware that those more vulnerable than us need our help. If we can help, we always will.

In 2005, we supported Aleksander Tammert – an Estonian athlete who is one of the best discus throwers in the world – in buying a home in the Kakumäe district. Later, Aleksander has told us that he is completely satisfied with his home.

For several years, we have been the main sponsor of the Viljandi Folk Music Festival because we value folk culture and its development.

Also, our employees have repeatedly donated blood, together as a group, because we know that this can save lives. Nothing is more important than that.

In addition to all of the above, our company has on countless occasions supported those in need of help with smaller charitable deeds, motivated by the principles of altruism that guide the hearts of us all.

We believe that everyone will need help at some point. It is our shared conviction that if all people and companies in Estonia behaved as Pindi Kinnisvara does and performed even just one small good deed every year, Estonia would be a much happier place to live.
