Procedure of valuation service
• preparing a valuation service contract, which includes an agreement on the purpose of the valuation report, its completion time, cost and other terms. The agreement may also be oral
• collecting the documents necessary for valuation, including the list of necessary documents, prepared for the ordering party by the valuator, and examination of these documents
• collecting additional information necessary for valuation, which includes market research necessary for this valuation only, conducted by the valuator, and analysis of the research data
• examination of the valuation object, including examination of the object and the accompanying documents by the valuator
• preparing the market survey of the valuation report, which includes giving the ordering party an overview of the market situation at the time of valuation
• price calculations of the valuation object, which includes calculating the whole information known to the valuator according to the methods internationally agreed upon.
• formalising the valuation report, which includes entering the information that was available for valuation or making copies of it, and summarising the sources used.
• defending the valuation act, which includes examination by the members of a committee of the valuation act prepared by the valuator. The committee approves or corrects the market value determined by the valuator by way of consensus.
