Energy marking

Energy marking is a document that provides information regarding the amount of energy consumed by a building for internal climate maintenance in comparison with average energy consumption by other similar buildings.

Energy marking shows actual or prospective annual energy consumption by a building or its separately used part for internal climate maintenance that includes energy consumed for heating and cooling of building, water heating, ventilation and illumination. The list of economically well-founded methods on reduction of building energy inputs is attached to energy marking.

Energy marking is obligatory since January, 1st, 2009!
